TEAC 3300-10 Stereo Reel To Reel Recorder original owner; it for sale in Allison Park, PA
TEAC 3300-10 Stereo Reel To Reel Recorder original owner; it works well. I bought this semi-professional stereo 10.5" tape recorder in 1973. My system consisted of a Marantz Amp, Dual turntable, and this Teac Recorder. I taped every album I could get my hands on that my dorm friends had. Played great then and still does. I used it regularly until my children came along in the early 80's and then it got stored away for almost 40 years. Both reel tables were replaced because the metal fins that hold the reels in place were showing fatigue cracks. I just put a new Capstan belt on it and lubed up the moving parts and it works great. The front face and sides are unmarked but the back has scratch marks from storage. Original Teac hubs, Teac dust cover (two small holes where vinyl rubbed against tape tables during storage), and one metal take up reel included. Pickup only (Pittsburgh area). I won't ship because I don't trust mail service not to bang it around and break it. I am selling because my hands and eyes giving out and threading the tapes is difficult for me plus I am downsizing all the stuff of my youth that my kids have no interest in.Someone bought my deck on Thanksgiving and did not realize it is LOCAL PICKUP ONLY! I canceled the sale for them and am now relisting. Please, no more screwups; that was agrivating.
